What does the maximum hard drive capacity HDEngine SATA port support?

HDEngine RTD1295 and 1296 models support hard drive up to 16TB, while RTD1619DR and S928 models support 18TB.

Notes for RTD1295 and 1296 models:

1.Hard drives with additional ESP/MSR partition might not be recognized by HDEngine, please delete these partitions via PC by hard disk management software like DiskGenius.

2. Please format to GPT partition for newly purchased hard drive over 2TB and create a new drive letter for the hard drive.

Why screenshot taken from videos playing by HDEngine internal player is black?

HDEngine internal player is based on Linux, which is in the bottom layer of Linux. While screenshot function is on the upper layer of Android, so it will show a black screenshot.

How to restore the factory settings of HDEngine player?

Setting steps : Settings - Other - Factory reset.

Attention: Before restoring the player to the factory, please unplug all external storage devices and do not disconnect the power throughout the process! Resetting the player to factory default settings will erase all data, including all installed applications. Please make a backup in advance. Factory reset only clears system application data and settings on the current firmware version, without reducing the firmware version number. Finally, wait for about 1-5 minutes, and the player will automatically restart and enter the desktop after factory recovery is completed.

Can HDEngine remote control be used for all models?

Yes, HDEngine remote controls are universal for all HDEngine media players including HDEngine RTD1619DR,1619BPD,1296,1295,S928.

Can HDEngine media players connect with Blu-ray or CD/DVD driver?

HDEngine media players can connect with unencrypted Blu-ray discs and original DVD/CDs by SATA/USB ports
